COVINGTON – St. Tammany Parish Government recently released its 2016 Annual Report.
The report pinpoints, in detail, the revenues and expenditures of St. Tammany Parish Government, as well as accomplishments by departments within parish government.
“Your government paved approximately 150,000 linear feet of roads, routinely maintained drainage ditches and detention ponds, assisted families in their times of need, kept tens of thousands of pounds of hazardous waste from entering into our environment, and helped over 800 animals find new homes,” said Pat Brister, St. Tammany Parish President. “We have and will continue to work hard to be good stewards of your tax dollars, and we are committed to making Parish Government more efficient each and every day. As always, we welcome and encourage residents to be engaged in the work of your Parish Government.”
Printed copies of the reports are available for pickup at St. Tammany Parish Government offices, and a digital copy of the report can be viewed at www.stpgov.org. Printed copies will be available in St. Tammany Parish libraries beginning the week of May 15, 2017.
