Paula Ann Gannon passed passed away on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014.
She was 63 years old.
She was a native of New Orleans, resident of Jefferson Parish for 14 years, and most recently a resident of Mandeville for the past 22 years.
She was the wife of 44 years to Michael J. Gannon; mother of Michael J. Gannon III, Sean M. Gannon (Cody); step-mother to Kellie Renners; daughter of Nate and Marie Bennett Ales; and sister of Nathan A. Ales (Debra).
She is also survived by grandson, Bradley Michael Gannon.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Covington, on Nov. 25.

Bill J. Blanchard passed away on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, near Mandeville.
He was born on Sunday, February 12, 1950 in Lafayette to Ruby Walton and Joseph Blanchard.
Blanchard married Mary Helen May and for 25 years, the family lived in West Monroe where he began his career with the Department of Health and Hospitals. He was promoted to Program Manager in Substance Abuse Prevention and moved to Baton Rouge for the 10 years prior to his retirement. He and his wife recently moved to Mandeville in order to be closer to their grandchildren.
He was the husband of Mary Helen May Blanchard for 36 years. He is survived by sons, Korey W. Blanchard (Jennifer) and Dane C. Blanchard; daughter, Anna Blanchard-Boles; and grandchildren, Konnor, Pierce, Dominique and Beau Blanchard, Rowan and Grant Blanchard, Evan Marie and Aidan Boles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Joy.
A funeral Mass was held on Nov. 24 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St. Mandeville.

Wilfred C. Griffin, Sr. passed away on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014.
He was 92 years old.
He is survived by his son, Wilfred C. Griffin Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jane Griffin; and brother Dutch Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph Griffin and Ruby Glockner Griffin.
Griffin is survived by granddaughter, Jennifer Rae, Lexi Phillips, and grandson Beau Davis.
He is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Charleigh Phillips and by his son’s two step-sons Todd and Eric Rossnagel.
Griffin was a lifelong resident of Mandeville. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as Baker First Class and was honorably discharged on May 9, 1948.
Griffin owned over 50 new vehicles in his lifetime.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m.

Zula Mae Burnham “Boots” Cox passed away on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at home in
Folsom.
She was born on November 28, 1926 in Brandon, Ms. to the late Hugh Joshua Burnham and Zula Mae Parsons Burnham.
Cox was married to her husband, the late Kenneth John Cox for 43 years and together they had two children, Carol C. Zamjahn (Kevin) and Kelly C. Vicari.
She leaves behind eight grandchildren, Christopher Zamjahn, Joshua Zamjahn, Lauren Zamjahn, Kenneth Vicari, Courteney Vicari, Kaitlin Vicari, Christina Vicari, and Korinne Vicari.
She was the sister of the late Ira Burnham, Mary Burnham, Emory Burnham, Jack Burnham, Suzanne B. Speer, and William “Bill” Burnham.
Cox attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Ms. and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. After college, she completed her education at Charity Hospital School of Nursing and earned her certification as a Registered Nurse. She finished her career as a home health nurse in Covington.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 24 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington.

Kevin John Reidy, of Folsom, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, in Covington.
He was born in Elizabeth, NJ on October 19, 1951, to Eleanor Donovan and John F. Reidy and has been a resident of Folsom since 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Reidy; daughter, Alainah Grace; and his sister, Maureen Tevlin (Jim). His parents preceded him in death.
Reidy was the Vice President, Eastern Zone for Kyocera Document Solutions, America. His career spanned over a period of more than 30 years, encompassing both Panasonic and Kyocera.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 S. New Hampshire St, Covington, LA 70433.
Holzhalb Hall will be open for a reception immediately following the service. A time of visitation at the church will begin at 12:30 p.m.
E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington has been entrusted with arrangements.

Angelina DeNicola LaScola passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014.
She was 81 years old.
She was the wife of Louis Eldon LaScola; mother of Maria LaScola Stampley (Lawrence) and Louis Martin LaScola; daughter of the late Angelina Pollage’ DeNicola and Joseph DeNicola; grandmother of Louis Michael LaScola; and sister of the late Frances Harrison, Hazel Coletti, Philip DeNicola, Mary Marallo, Victor DeNicola, Annie Cusimano, Joe DeNicola, Frank DeNicola and Jasper DeNicola.
LaScola graduated from Charity Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Audubon Golf Club and Duplicate Bridge Club in Metairie.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 17 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington.

Marie Bouey Wisinger passed away on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014.
She was 94 years old.
She was the wife of the late Leslie William Wisinger; mother of John Wisinger Sr. (and his wife Linda) and Rodney Wisinger Sr. (and his wife Dinah); daughter of the late Felecien and Lydia Donaldson Bouey; grandmother of Rodney Wisinger, Jr., John Wisinger Jr., Brett Wisinger, Cody Wisinger and Shawn Wisinger; great-grandmother of Kaylie, Faith, Grace and Katie. Sister of the late Hazel Glockner (Harold), Norwood Bouey (Mim) and Allen Bouey; and sister-in-law of Thelma Bouey.

Paul Anthony DiMaio passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014.
He was 63 years old.
He was the husband of Nancy Cappel DiMaio; father of Jane DiMaio Lukovics (Ronnie) and Paul Anthony DiMaio Jr. (Christine); son of the late Dorothy Haws DiMaio and Anthony DiMaio; brother of Jean Aschman (Fred) and Toni Lopez (Bryan); grandfather of Ronnie Lukovics Jr., Courtney Lukovics and Collin DiMaio; and uncle of Ashley and Jacques Cappel, Bryton and Emma Lopez.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 22 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Dimaio to be made to the American Cancer Society.
