Eldin Raymond Graffeo passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Hammond at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday evening, May 31, 2016.
He was 75 years old.
Eldin was born in New Orleans, a lifelong resident of Chalmette, and a resident of Covington for the last 10 years. Eldin was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He worked for Kaiser Aluminum and retired from the “M.M.S.” Department of Interior.
He was a devoted and loving husband of Cora Alongi Graffeo for 53 years; loving father of Ellen Graffeo Trahan and husband, Kenneth and Eric Graffeo and wife, April; son of the late Thais St. Phillip and Elmo Graffeo; grandfather of Allison and Bryce; and brother of Anthony, Terry Sr., Robert “Bobby,” and the late Warren and Richard.
A private inurnment will take place at Southeast La. Veterans Cemetery in Slidell at a later time.

Ronald Joseph Rabalais passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
He was 58 years old.
He was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Chalmette, LA for most of his life.
He was the loving husband of Sharon Arena Rabalais for 16 years; son of the late Camille Joseph and Ethel Marie Cline Rabalais Jr.; devoted step-father of Aaron Carollo, Nicholas Carollo “Kierstynne” and Carlo Carollo III; brother of Max Rabalais, Cecile Theriot and the late Donald Rabalais; and the loving grandfather of Layla Carollo.

Shelly Ann Kent passed away in her sleep Saturday morning, July 9, 2016.
She was 45 years old.
She was born in New Orleans and has lived on the north shore for the last 20 years. Shelly worked as an insurance agent for 20 years with C. J. Ladner State Farm Insurance Agency in Covington.
She was the beloved daughter of Kathleen D. Kent and the late Daniel Charles Kent.
Her undying love will remain with her two daughters, Brittany Lynn Kent and Danielle Anamarie Harris.
She is survived by her loving fiancé Ryan Weber for the last 15 years.
She was the devoted sister of Stacey Kent Jacob and husband Larry, and Scott Kent and wife Stacey; and loving Nanny to Toni Marie and Cameron “her Snooka” Jacob.
She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, LA. on Saturday morning, July 16 at 11:30 a.m.
Visitation from 10:30 till service time.
