Jean Emilien LaBrousse Jr., passed away peacefully at his home in Folsom on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi “Mita” Smith O. LaBrousse; and half-sister, Cindy Labrousse Taylor.
He was a native New Orleanian born Saturday, January 29, 1927 to John E. and Lois “Peggy” M. Labrousse. Since 1965 he was a resident of Goodbee and then Folsom in St. Tammany Parish. He owned an Automobile Paint and Body Shop.
He served in the Army Air Corp during the World War II post war occupation of Germany.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.

John “Jack” McDougall Jr. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014.
He was 67 years old.
He was the husband of Sandra “Sandy” Sanders McDougall; father of Kristy Beach (Peter Callan Beach Jr.); son of the late Grace Prindle McDougall and John Edward McDougall; brother of Shiela Spaw and the late Sandra Grace McDougall; and grandfather of Emily Savina Beach and Leah Grace Beach.
McDougall was a graduate of the University of New Orleans and Warren Easton High School where he was a band member. He was a resident of Mandeville for the past 35 years.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 27 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in memory of Mr. McDougall to be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington, LA.

David Parom “D.P.” Harris, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, in Mandeville.
He was born on January 2, 1927 in Trees City, La. to the late David P. Harris Sr. and Samuel Burney Posey Harris.
He was married to Lois Mills Harris for 65 years, and together they had one daughter, Libby H. Cole.
He was the grandfather of Stacy Neal Hollowell, James David Hollowell, and Courtney Shea Cole; and five great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of Kenneth Harris and Brian Posey.
Harris was a member of The Upper Room Sunday School class.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, Jan. 2 at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, 3715 Youree Drive, Shreveport, LA 71105 at 2 p.m. with a reception after the service.

Huey P. Moore, of Mandeville, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at his residence.
He was 78 years old.
He was born in New Orleans to Clarence Moore and Ethel Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Moore; son, Edward P. Moore; daughters, Cathleen M. Addison, and Cynthia M. Cook; grandchildren, Dale Addison Jr., Christopher Cook, Alyssa Addison and Timothy Addison; great-grandchildren, Alaina Addison, Tyler Cook and Clayton Cook; sisters, Dorothy M. Furse, Hazel M. Sanders; and brother, Patrick (Ricky) Moore.
He was predeceased by his parents; sons, Huey P. Moore Jr. and Robert J. Moore; daughter, Ethelmae G. Moore; brothers, C.J. Moore and Henry D. Moore; and sister, Thomasine M. Theriot.
A memorial service was held on Dec. 26 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

Vera Shirley Rose Stecher Ianni passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, surrounded by her family at home in Covington.
She was 91 years old.
She was born in New Orleans to the late Joseph G. Stecher and Rose Marie Christina Stecher.
She married Carmelo “Emile” Ianni in 1959, and has been widowed for 32 years. Together, they had two children, Emile P. Ianni (Andrea’) and Rose I. Beau (Eddie).
She was the grandmother of Julianna and Blake Ianni, and Amanda, Emily and Allison Beau.
She was employed at Western Union Telegraph Company during World War II and remained there for 30 years.
A funeral Mass was held on Dec. 26 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4465 Hwy 190 East Service Rd., Covington.
