Catherine Lynn Sutton, daughter of Joann (Joy) Sutton and the late Edward A. Sutton, passed away in her home on Monday, Nov. 24, 2014.
She was the mother of Chris Sutton and Shara Dean; grandmother of Abryelle, Braelyn and Colburn Dean, Dylan Sutton and Troy Lamarque; sister of Julie Sutton Connelly; and nephews, Reed and Seth Connelly.
She had an extended family that lived between California and New York City.
Sutton was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on May 18th 1961. She was employed at the family business, Connector Specialist for most of her working life.
There will be a celebration of life on December 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Maison Lafitte, 402 Lafitte St., Mandeville, La.

Lorraine Laura Lavier Resor passed away on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014.
She was 78 years old.
She was the wife of 59 years to James T. Resor; mother of seven children, James T. Resor Jr., Brian M. Resor, Laurie Resor Salinas, David A. Resor, Lorraine R. Weiskopf, Linda M. Resor and Mary R. Knobles; daughter of the late Laura Heaton Lavier and Felix Lavier; sister of the late Ethel Pepitone, Mildred Dewhurst, Rose Marmion, Rita Dempsey, Ruth Marlow, Lawrence Lavier and Anthony Lavier; and grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of one.
She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington for the past 21 years where she was a parishioner and committed Eucharistic Adorer at St. Peter Catholic Church.
A funeral Mass was held on Dec. 15 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington.

Sarah Poag Cannon passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, in Baton Rouge, La.
She was born on Friday, February 6, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. to Maxie Bishop and Clarence Poag and was a long time resident of Covington before recently moving to Baton Rouge.
She was the wife of the late Michael S. Cannon. She is survived by sons, Hugh Michael, Bruce Reeves and Scott Poag Cannon; brother, Joe Poag; grandchildren, Stacey, Melissa C., Melissa P., Tyler, Brittany, Sarah, Katie and Kool; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Jordan, Sophia, Jase and Sarah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Charles and Dalcomb Poag.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 13 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington.

Sandra Smith Graham passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, in Folsom, La.
She was born on September 17, 1956 in Metairie, La. to the late William Smith Sr. and Dora Briley Smith.
Graham was married to her husband, Donald W. Graham, for 33 years, and together they had one child, Ryan W. Graham. She was the sister of William Smith Jr.
The Liturgy of the Word was held on Dec. 15 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington.

Myrtle Van Tuyl Carron, born on December 9, 1913 in Central America to the late Charles Van Tuyl and Ellen Price Van Tuyl, passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014.
She was 100 years old.
She was the wife of the late Julius Joseph “Joe” Carron for 44 years; and mother of Myrtle Jean Carron Barrosse and husband Lionel, of Mandeville, Jacqueline Carron Lowe and husband George, of Metairie, Barbara Carron Reno and husband Fredrick of Baton Rouge, and Gary Joseph Carron of Mandeville.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Robert Barrosse (Lori), William Barosse, Sydney Hazell, Mary Thomas (Gary), Jennifer Frischhertz (Eric), Laurie Brignac (Richard Zipp), Stacy Dunham (Michael), John Joseph Brignac (Christine), Julie Brignac, David Brignac (Angelique), Jacques Brignac (Tara), Dennise Reno, Candace Reno Rovira (Jonathan), Joseph Carron (Jennifer), and Penny Carron; 32 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Carron was a resident of Rouquette Lodge in Mandeville, La., and a former resident of New Orleans and Pearlington, Ms.

Christopher Joseph Williams passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, in Lacombe.
He was born on September 27, 1962 in Metairie, La. to the late John Patrick Williams Sr. and Lucille Perron Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Husser Williams for 20 years, and together they had two children, Justin M. Husser (fiancé, Samantha Broussard) and Tyler J. Williams.
He was the brother of John P. Williams Jr., Patrick S. Williams (the late Peggy), Stephen J. Williams, and Johnna W. Waldrop (husband, Joe).
A funeral Mass was held on Dec. 11 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 28088 Main St., Lacombe.

James Wilbur “Willie” Harris passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, in Mandeville.
He was born on April 16, 1924, in Houston, Texas to the late Francis Marion Harris and Frances Ernestine Guderian.
Harris is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty D’Amico Harris; daughters, Kathleen Harris Davidson, (Bruce) of Covington, and Patricia Harris Seoud, (Darsh) of Big Bear Lake, Calif.
He was the grandfather of Bryan Harris Davidson, Christopher Michael Davidson, Matthew Harris Owen and Jacob Vincent Owen; and great-grandfather of Benjamin Harris Davidson, Samuel James Davidson, Brenden David Owen, Samantha Elizabeth Owen and Joseph Michael Owen.
Harris was the brother of the late Doctor Francis Marion Harris and Wayne Louis Harris.
He served in the Army Corp of Engineers during World War II and worked for the U.S. Forest Service, before his career with Chevron, where he retired as a Senior Representative in the Land Department. He attended Fortier High School and Tulane University.
Harris also served on the Mandeville Planning and Zoning Board and the Special Events Committee.
A funeral Mass was held on Dec. 3 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville.

Floyd Forrest Collins Jr. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, in New Orleans.
He was 57 years old.
He was the former husband of Julie Lynn Booth; father of Corey Patrick Collins; and brother of Jo Ann Collins Galloway.
A memorial service was held at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, LA 70433.

Malcolm Paul Laudun passed away on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014.
He was 79 years old.
He was the husband of Joycelyn Cambre Laudun; son of the late Lawrence J. and Anna Brignac Laudun; father of Keith and Denise K. Laudun, Gregory and Vickie B. Laudun, Bryan Laudun, Albert and Jacqueline L. Gaticia, and Ralph and Jeanne L. Huntington; and brother of Richard Laudun, the late Lawrence J. Laudun, Jr., Leroy F. Laudun, Joyce L. Carrington, Ralph Laudun and John Laudun.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell. He retired from Berner’s Heating and Air of New Orleans.
A funeral Mass was held on Dec. 17 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd., Slidell.
