Morris James Daigle Jr. – Mulkey passed away in his sleep on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014.
He was born on Friday, March 9, 1962.
He was the son Of Kathleen Mulkey Grisoli and the late John J. Mulkey Jr. and Morris J. Daigle; and stepson of Marco J.Grisoli.
He is also survived by sisters, Joann Thomas (Michael) and Kathleen Mulkey.
Daigle served in the United States Navy. He was a machinist and mechanic.
He is also survived by nephews, Nicholas and Justin Graham; and nieces, Kaitlyn Gonsoulin, Alyssa and Savanah Thomas.
A graveside service was held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, on Sept. 15.

Lerlene Herrington passed away on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014.
She was 92 years old.
She was the wife of the late Jesse Herrington; mother of Merry Lyons (the late Tommy) of Saucier, Ms., Pat Farmer (Carroll) of Ocean Springs, Ms., and Gail McCoy (Tony) of Mandeville; and daughter of the late Lessie Cliburn Netherland and James Milton Netherland.
She is survived by four siblings, Mildred Walters, Eula Myers and James Netherland of Pearl, Ms., and Jeanne’ Bradley of Mobile, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Carol Leggett, Lori Smith, Todd Cook, Lacey Farmer, Justin Farmer, Paul McCoy, Leah Mckee and Shea DeGavage; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 15 at Shiloh Baptist Church, in Sontag, Ms.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Herrington to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Michael “Paul” Cousin passed away at his home in Folsom on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014.
He was the husband of Vera Lee Roberts Cousin; companion of 18 years to Roxanne Shultz; father of Damian Cousin; and son of Dorothy Laurent and the late Michael Cousin Sr.
He is also survived by his stepmother, Gloria Cousin Napier; and brother of Elizabeth Jefferson and husband, John; Carl Mitchell and wife Anita, Oliver Cousin Sr. and wife Laurie, Molly Collins, Alison Cousin, Joanie Badon and the late Spiro, Larry, Johnny, Arthur Cousin and Cynthia Cousin.
Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lacombe, La.

Rachel A. Coward passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014.
She was born on July 17, 1932, in Bedford, Virginia.
She was the wife of 59 years to the late Ray Patterson “Patt” Coward.
She is survived by daughters, Penny Watts (Edward) of Metairie, Jan Slack of Covington, and Susan Kenney (Jim) of Houston; and grandchildren, Cammy Watts Green, Rachel Watts, Edward Watts III, Allison Slack Odom, Mallory Slack, David Croft, Ray “Patt” Croft, Stuart Kenney, and Ann Kenney. Sister to Audrey Witt of Bedford, VA, Emilie Citty of Forest, Va., and Ed Angel of Bedford, Va.
She was the sister to the late Elizabeth Allen of Lynchburg, Va. and Ed Angel of Bedford, Va.
Graveside services will be private.

Joanne Perry Fruchtnicht passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, in Metairie, La.
She was the mother of Rosalie Delaune, Sidney Freeman, Gina Lunsford, Bridgette Fruchtnicht and Ronda Perry; sister of Dianne P. Lewis, Gladys Jacobs, Gerry Perry, Roseanne Spindell, Mary Hannan, and the late Raymond Perry and Robbie Perry; grandmother of Sidney Freeman Jr., Ronnie Fruchtnicht, Ryan Delaune, Lauren Fruchtnicht, Lisa Fruchtnicht, Taylor Fruchtnicht, Ann Lunsford, Aleah Perry, Cameron Freeman, Leann Lunsford, Saige Northcutt, Isabella Fruchtnicht and Luke Northcutt; and daughter of the late Raymond and Rosalie Perry.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 11 St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 4921 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie.

Ellen Irene Crawford Horn Bangs passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Bush, La. on Friday, July 9, 1926, to Vidalia Jenkins and Charley Crawford.
A lifelong resident of Bush, Bangs was a registered nurse and retired from Southeast Louisiana Hospital in Mandeville after 35 years.
She was the mother of Bobby Bangs (Denise), Steven Bangs and the late Janet Horn Rudesill. She is survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and onegreat-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother and eight sisters.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 13 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

Helen E. McCain King Amerson passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014.
She was 71 years old.
She was born in Eupora, Ms. to James H. McCain Sr. and Ida Mae McCain. She was a former resident of Bogalusa and a resident of Covington for the past 55 years.
She is survived by her second husband, Calvin Amerson; sons, James Delon King (Darleen), and Timothy Anthony King (Letitia); daughters, Nancy Renee King Hines (Johnny), and Cynthia Maria King Atkins (Larry); step-sons, Romie Montgomery Amerson (Marva), and Westley Frank Amerson (Isabelle); step-daughter, Amber Louise Amerson (Bruce); brother, James H. McCain Jr. (Ann); sister, Barbara McCain Morrow (late Dent); 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Dealon King; father, James H. McCain Sr.; and mother, Ida Mae McCain.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 13 at the Pentecostals of Lee Road Community, 17700 Hwy. 40, Covington.
