Henry Parra Garcia passed away with his family at his side on Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Slidell.
He was the husband of Jacqueline M. Garcia; and father of Christopher Garcia, Ricky Garcia, Mario Garcia, Jessica Garcia (Ernie), and Rachel Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his father, Anastacio Garcia; and mother, Genovena Parra Garcia.
He was the brother to Willie, Raymond, Alvino, Nick, Richard, Sanchez, Leona, Margaret, Stella, Alicia, and Tillie; grandfather to Christopher Garcia Jr., Caitlyn Garcia, Gabrielle Whittington, and Aaron Whittington.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Garcia family to offset funeral costs would be appreciated.
A funeral Mass was held on May 13 at St. Lukes Catholic Church, Slidell.

Joshua Ferguson Planchard passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
He was 17 years old.
Planchard lived with his family in Ponchatoula, La. where he attended Ponchatoula High School. He was a former resident of Mandeville from 1996 to 2013 where he attended Fontainebleau High School and was a member of the Swim Team, ROTC and Talented Art Program.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Dinah (Ferguson) Planchard; sister, Jamie Estelle Planchard; grandparents, Don and Kay Planchard, Margaret (Rapier) and Esnard Gremillion, Mrs. Gladys “Bobbye” (Webb) Culmone; uncles and aunts, Nancy (Ferguson) and Don Kadatz, Don and Paula Ferguson, Marci (Ferguson) and Holger Jahnke, Lorna and Jason Bourgeois, Victor J. Culmone Jr., Andrew Planchard, Liz (Planchard) Lavender, and Patrick Kimble.
Funeral services were held on April 12 at Trinity E.F. Church, 19380 N. 10th St., Covington.

Paul Elwood Greer passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Slidell.
He was born on August 25, 1936 in Baton Rouge to Paul Elijah and Claudia Netterville Greer and was currently residing in Carriere, Ms.
He was the husband of the late Wanda “Jane” Strickland Greer.
He is survived by daughters, Toni Greer Pete (Roland Draughon III), Lisa Greer Ruel and Lorie K. Greer (John S. Masson); brothers, Thomas B., J.O. “Duck” and John M. Greer; sister, Mary Greer Persick; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was the companion of Billie Crochet.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Marcel P. Greer; and brother, W. “LaRue” Greer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral services were held on May 12 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

David Allen Wagner passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014, at his home in Mandeville.
He was 71 years old.
He was born to Raymond and Frances (Wood) Wagner.
Wagner grew up in Glen Burnie, Maryland and graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1960. After high school he attended college at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He began his career working for the Maryland State Roads Commission in Baltimore, Maryland as a professional registered engineer. Throughout his extensive professional career, he worked as senior transportation advisor for the City of Baltimore, Director of the Baltimore Mass Transit Administration, Deputy Secretary of Transportation for the state of Maryland, Director of the Port of Baltimore, and Chief Operating Officer for the Port of New Orleans. He retired in 2006.
He married Nancy Patrick in 1965 in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and they were married for 49 years.
Wagner was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Wagner.
He is survived by his spouse, Nancy of Mandeville; sons, Jeffrey (Michelle) of Atlanta, Ga., and Eric (Dawn) of Owings Mills, Maryland; brother, Larry Wagner of Pasadena, Maryland; and grandchildren, Megan and Taylor.
A memorial service was held on April 14 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Wagner to be made to Covington Food Bank and St. Tammany Parish Hospital Foundation.

Floyd “Pic” Adam Bailey Jr., of Madisonville, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at his home.
He was 71 years old.
He was born to the late Floyd Adam Bailey Sr. and Eleanora Munsterman Bailey.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Erna Bourg Bailey; daughters, Ronda Sinclair and Roslyn Dufrene; sons, Floyd “Tre” A. Bailey III and Chad Dufrene; sister, Barbara “Sue” Allen; and brothers, Charles “Chuck” Bailey and George “Beaver” Bailey. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He graduated from West Jefferson High School, served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1960 to 1964, worked for Southern Natural Gas for 29 years and was a member of the Barataria Pleasure and Fishing Club.
Funeral services were held on April 17 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.
