Charlotte Keller Coats Fanz passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
She was 88 years old.
She was the wife of the late John William Fanz Jr.; mother of Charlotte Keller Fanz, Valerie Fanz Hendrickson (Peter), Cynthia M. Fanz, and Melanie Jaye Fanz; grandmother of Jon Keller Hendrickson; daughter of the late Ada Virginia Keller Coats and William Thomas Coats; and sister of the late William T. Coats Jr.
A memorial service was held on March 25 at Christ Episcopal Church, Covington.

Irene Downs Burden passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Camellia Gardens Retirement Community.
She was 93 years old.
She was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Texarkana, Ark. and in Slidell.
She was the wife of the late William Edward Downs for 41 years and the late Winfred Burden for five years.
She was the mother of Elaine Huff and the late Edrene Berckes; grandmother of Amy Dickson (Kenneth), Alicia Berckes Coates (Darren) and Christian Berckes (Jennifer); and is survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service took place on March 25 at the United Methodist.

Antonio Bologna passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 20, 2014.
He was born, May 28, 1928 in New Orleans, LA to Anthony J. Bologna and Rose D’Antoni Bologna. He has been a resident of Abita Springs since 1970.
He was the husband of Anna Duclos Bologna, for the past 66 years.
He is survived by daughters, Dianne Bologna Boland and Phyllis Ann Bologna; son, Anthony C. Bologna (Melissa); sisters, Mary Jane Ciaccio and Eleanora B. Kennedy; grandchildren, Brian S. Picou, Martin and Carla Barcelona, Nicholas and Megan Bologna; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his eldest granddaughter, Gretchen Picou Clifton.
A funeral mass was held on March 24 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

Alton O. Hauswirth Jr., a resident of Slidell and a Marine Corps retiree, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Hauswirth; sons, Alton Hauswirth III and Spencer Westerfield.
He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Elena Hauswirth; and grandson, Mathuis Hauswirth.
The burial was held on March 14 at Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, La.

Doris Marie Gleason Sanderson, affectionately known as “Dot,” passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Mandeville..
She was 81 years old.
She was a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Mandeville.
She was an active member at the Mandeville Senior Center.
She is survived by daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth Sanderson Ezell, Georgette Sanderson Camet, Julie Sanderson LeMaire and husband Charles; daughter-in-law, Darlene Sanderson; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin Charles Gleason Jr.
She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Sanderson; sons, Edwin Sanderson and Henry Sanderson; parents, Edwin Charles Gleason Sr. and Myrtle Kettleberger Triay; brother, Larry Gleason; and sister, Anna Haupt.

Larry Gene Rudesill Sr. passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
He was 65 years old.
He was a resident of Folsom for most of his life.
He is survived by daughter, Laurie Miller; sons, Larry “Bubby” Rudesill Jr. and wife Ann and David Rudesill; sisters, Cathy Stevens and Lois Kitchens; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild Emmalyne.
He was predeceased by his wife, Janet H. Rudesill; and brother, Milton “Timmy” Rudesill Jr.
Funeral services were held on March 19 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.
