Clara Cooper Bond passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at her residence in Covington.
She was 88 years old.
She was born to Milton Earl Holder and Lela Mae Holder.
She is survived by daughters, Carol Walters and Debbie Martineau; grandchildren, Ryan Walters, Drew Walters, Kelsey Martineau and Karlee M. Benoit; great-grandchildren, Dylan Walters and Connor Walters; and brothers, Harold Holder and Sheffield Holder.
She was predeceased by her father, mother; first husband, Conley Howard Cooper; and second husband, Bill R. Bond.
A funeral service was held on Jan. 25 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

TSGT Lynn Joseph Ducote Jr., U.S. Airforce, Ret., of Amite, La., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014.
He was 57 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ducote; son, Paul Ducote; and grandchildren, Reid Ducote, and Grayson Ducote.
A graveside service was held on Jan. 27 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W. 21st Ave. Covington.

Alberta Sharp LaMondra passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014.
She was 85 years old.
She was wife by first marriage to the late, E.H. Fitzmorris; and by second marriage to the late Robert LaMondra; mother of Lynn Fitzmorris-Ratcliff, Stanley E. “Abe” Fitzmorris, Janice “Janie” Fitzmorris Brown, Shannon E. Fitzmorris Spinks and Samuel E. “Bim” Fitzmorris; daughter of the late Amelia Galloway Sharp and Hardy Sharp; and sister of Vesta Sharp, Norma Jean Austin, Ernest Sharp, and the late Catherine Rogers, Velma Brignac, Argyle Sharp and Versie Sharp.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Jan. 25 at Shepherd’s Care Ministries, 20115 Hwy 1081, Covington.

Jerome Richard Cambre Jr. passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
He was 90 years old.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret J. Cusimano Cambre; son of the late Jerome Richard Cambre Sr. and Emma Grethen Cambre; father of Richard J. Cambre, Jim Cambre and Marguerite Baudean; and brother of Johnny Cambre, Lloyd Cambre, Shirley Cambre and Claire Cambre.
He is survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was a WWII Veteran.
A funeral service was held on Jan. 24 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

William H. Brugmann Jr. passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.
He was born in Rutland, Vermont and grew up in New Jersey. He graduated from Tenafly High School.
He served with the 8th Armored Division in Europe during WWII and received his BS degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia. While at UVA, he was a member of ODK, the Raven Society, Sig Ep fraternity, and lettered in baseball.
His professional career was with Standard Oil, ESSO, Humble Oil, and Exxon.
Brugmann was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Brugmann Sr. and Sarita Pattison Brugmann; siblings, Betty Collings, Peggy Wright and James Brugmann; and his wife of 60 years, Jeanne Brugmann.
He is survived by his son, William L. and wife Carolyn; grandchildren, Dr. William B. Brugmann, and Dr. Bonnie Boudreaux (Darren); and sister-in-law, Kathy Rosenbaum (Alan).
He was interned with Jeanne at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
All services were private.
