Dawn A. Autrey passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at her home in Abita Springs.
She was 52 years old.
She was born in California and a resident of Abita Springs for the last four years.
She was the wife of Jefferson E. Autrey for over five years.
She was the mother of Crystal Dawn Collins, Jeremy Ryan Holley of Post Falls, Idaho, Jared Stevens Holley of Newport, Washington, Elisabeth M. Autrey of Stevensville, MT and Danate M. Medema of Anchorage, AK; sister of Drew Moody, Walter Moody, Richard Ray, Joanne Cassidy and the late Stephanie Gail Stocking and Dale Ridge Cowan; and grandmother of Justice B. Holley, Justice Collins, Troy Bacon, Monica Bacon, Mercedes Collins, Dea Collins, Prestyn Holley, Isolde Medema, Freja Medema, Kalob Holley and Travis Bacon.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at Trinity Baptist Church, Abita Springs, on Saturday, August 23 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Oliver F. “Brad” Bradford Jr. passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 in Covington.
He was born on Sunday, September 11, 1921 in Donaldsonville, La. to Oliver Filmore and Bertha Landry Bradford. He lived in Metairie and New Orleans before moving to Covington in 1989.
He was a graduate of LSU and received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola. His professional career was spent with Texaco as a Petroleum Landman and Attorney. A member of Tchefuncte Country Club. He was also a parishioner of St. Anselm Catholic Church in Madisonville.
He was the husband of the late Alice Marrero Bradford.
He is survived by two sons, Charles E. Bradford and Oliver F. “Chip” Bradford III.
A funeral Mass was held on Aug. 19 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

Donald Joseph Hosch, Sr. passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife, Martha Jane Noble Schwabe Hosch, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
He was 77 years old.
He was born on December 10, 1936, in New Orleans, and has been a resident of Covington since 1991.
Hosch was the son of his predeceased parents, Henry William Hosch II and Florence Doyle Hosch; and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James Noble and Dottie Noble. He was also preceded in death by older brothers, William Henry Hosch III and Clarence Gerard Hosch; sister, Doris Hosch Gabriel; sons, Ronald and Michael Hosch; niece, Nancy Virginia Elmer; sisters-in-law, Audrey Hosch and Sherril Hosch; and brother-in-law, Sonny Waguespack.
He was married to Martha for 39 years; and was father to Donald J. Hosch Jr. (Iva) and Gary V. Schwabe Jr.
He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Lisa Marie Callia Schwabe; and grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Schwabe and James Noble Schwabe; and sister-in-law, Sallie Noble Elmer.
Hosch is the brother of Carolyn Hosch Reed, husband Donald, Lorraine Hosch Waguespack and Roland Hosch.
He attended Saint Joseph Elementary, McDonogh #11, and Warren Easton High School. He also proudly served his country in the US Army from 1957-1963. A member of the HQ Co, 1st Medium Tank Battalion, 37th Armor, he was stationed in Germany, Texas, Arkansas, and New Jersey. Hosch was a marine surveyor with World Marine Associates, Inc. for 24 years and was regional manager for Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
The family wishes to acknowledge the outstanding care provided by St. Tammany Hospice.

Gary William Cleland Sr. passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of Covington and was born on Tuesday, February 12, 1946 in New Orleans to Evangeline Messersmith and Carl Christian Cleland Sr.
He was the husband of Cynthia Lee Cleland for 21 years. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Cleland Hano (Les); sons, Gary W., Jr. (Maggie) and Matthew C. Cleland; sisters, Gail Gosch and Carolyn Strain; brother, Carl Cleland Jr.; step-children, Trey Patterson (Jennifer), Russell Koepp (Jaimee), Kathryn Koepp; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Susan Laitinen Cleland.
Cleland joined the Navy in 1966 and served two tours in Vietnam on the USS Kearsarge as a member of the Brownwater River Rats. After leaving the Navy, he returned to Louisiana and worked as a mail carrier for the Covington Post Office for 35 years. He also served as a Post Commander for the local American Legion in the early 1970s.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 18 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

Earl Wayne Clemons passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
He was 71 years old.
He was born on February 3, 1943, in Calhoun County, Ms. to James Earl Clemons and Juanita Frances Chandler Clemons.
He had three brothers, James Lamar (Son), Steve Edward, and Larry Gene; and sisters, Barbara Ellen, Linda Frances, and Dorothy ‘Faye.’
After graduating in 1961 from Benoit High School, he went to work for US Gypsum Co. in Greenville, Ms. He was drafted into the Army and shortly after, married Brenda Kaye Goodwin, his wife of almost 49 years.
While stationed in Washington, his son William Allen Clemons was born. When he returned home from war in Vietnam, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Gallantry Cross and the Sharpshooter (Rifle M-14) Commendation, he relocated his family to Texas and started his career as an insurance salesman. They settled in Houston, where later his daughter Tammy Darlene Clemons was born. Eighteen years later, in 1985, they moved back home to Greenville, Ms. In 1999, he moved his family to Covington where he retired from his career as an insurance salesman.
He was preceded in death by both parents; sisters, Dorothy ‘Faye’ Clemons and Barbara Ellen Clemons Davis; and son, William Allen Clemons.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, grandson, Paul Lewis Clemons (Julia); great-grandchildren, Kylie and Lucas Clemons;, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 18 E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.

Syble Beatrice Jordan Sullivan passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in Covington.
She was born on November 16, 1928, in Summerville, Ms. to the late Elmer and Myrtis Nix Jordan.
Sullivan was the wife of the late Garland Sullivan for 57 years. She was the mother of Dale Sullivan (Carolyn), Wanda Sullivan (Charlie), Jerry Sullivan (Patricia), Tina Monette (David), Patricia Krummel (Robert), and Larry Sullivan (Brenda). She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 19 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington.
