Doris Chignoli Bougon, 96 a native of Joliet, IL and longtime resident of New Orleans and St. Tammany Parish passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Doris was the daughter of the late John Chignoli and Louise Bankovich Chignoli of Joliet, IL, beloved wife of the late Tracey Bougon. Mother to Sue Bougon Gibbs, Tracie Bougon Tobin (Timothy) and Paul Bougon (Mary Anne). Grandmother to John Bougon (Morgan), Anne Marie Bougon Koch (Bo), Keith Tobin (Kaitlyn) and Molly Tobin. Great-Grandmother of Porter Bougon. Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Mae Rose Chignoli Drauden.
Doris was an avid porcelain artist, a member of the International Porcelain Artist Teacher’s Association, The Slidell Porcelain Artist Club and the Southern Porcelain Art Guild. She worked as a porcelain artist for Disney World for approximately 20 years and sold her pieces to many of the plantations in Louisiana and Mississippi.
A funeral mass will be held at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Lacombe, LA on Monday August 14, 2017. Visitation begins at 9:00 am with the funeral mass following at 10:00 am. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception following the mass in St. John’s Community Center. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Compasses Hospice or St. Tammany Humane Society or a charity of your choice.

Alice D. Glasgow gained her angel wings Saturday morning, August 5, 2017, at Slidell Memorial Hospital, at the age of 76. She was born in McNeil, MS and raised in Poplarville, MS. Alice was a resident of Slidell for the last 28 years. Alice served in the U.S. Armed Forces for over twenty years, she retired and was given an honorable discharge in 1994. Alice was a faithful and beloved member of Living Word Church, Lacombe, where she enjoyed the company of her best friend, Audry McGary.
Loving wife of Charles T. Glasgow for 40 years.
Devoted mother of Joseph Dunn (Stephanie), Juliana Masters (Monte) Robby Holmes (Laura), and Nikki Glasgow and the late Ronny Holmes and his surviving wife Noel.
Sister of James Dunn and the late Annette Dunn and Bobby Derouen. Loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation and Services at Living Word Church, 26214 Hwy. 190, Lacombe on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Funeral Services will take place the next day, Friday morning, August 11 at 10:00. The Burial service will take place after the funeral at approximately 2:00 pm., at the McNeil Cemetery 45 Alphabet Road, McNeil, MS.

Norman Jo “Skippy” Casey, age 71 of Covington died on Friday, August 4, 2017, at her residence. Born, Wednesday, September 19, 1945 in Covington to Norman Russell Hyde and Josie Frederick Hyde.
Survived by her Daughter – Nicole Aune, Son – Freddie Casey, and Daughter-in-law – Jessica Casey.
She was predeceased by her Father – Norman Russell Hyde, Mother – Josie Frederick Hyde, Long Time Companion Larry Bradley, and Sister – Emma Jean Hyde.
